These terms are an agreement between you and Empty Cup Development LLC, a New York limited liability company ("we", "us"), about this website, emptycupdevelopment.com. Visits to emptycup.llc are sent on to it. By using the site, you agree to these terms. Each of our apps, Enough and Meeting Place, has its own terms, which apply when you use the app.

In short

  • This site tells you about the company and its tools. It is free, with no account.
  • Please don't misuse it or copy its design and artwork, which belong to us.
  • The guide "How This Company Runs" and its kit are free to copy under CC0 1.0.
  • The site is provided as is.

1. Using the site

You may read, link to and share the site's pages for any lawful purpose. Please don't try to break into it, overload it, copy it in bulk with automated tools, use it to harm anyone, or use our name, logo or pages to pretend to be us.

2. Our content

The text, artwork, logo and design of this site belong to Empty Cup Development LLC. You may not copy or reuse them, except as the law allows or as section 3 says.

3. The guide and kit are free to copy

The guide "How This Company Runs", its templates and the One-Person Company Kit are dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0 Universal. You may copy, change and share them for any purpose, without asking or crediting us. The Empty Cup Development LLC name and logo, and this site's design and fonts, are not part of that dedication. The guide and kit are general information, not legal, tax, financial or other professional advice.

4. Other names

Names of other companies and their products belong to their owners. Claude is a product and trademark of Anthropic, PBC. Empty Cup Development LLC is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Anthropic.

5. Our apps and other sites

Our apps have their own terms and privacy policies, which apply when you use them. Links to other companies' sites are there for convenience. We don't control those sites and are not responsible for them.

6. No warranty

The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises of any kind about the site, including that it will be available, accurate, complete or free of errors. Nothing on the site is professional advice.

7. Limits on our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses from your use of the site, and our total responsibility for any claim about the site is limited to US$50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

8. Law and disputes

New York law governs these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute about them will be heard in the state or federal courts located in New York. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

9. Changes

If these terms change, we update the version and the effective date at the top. Changes apply from that date.
